Infrastructure

Infrastructure BIM

We model and coordinate infrastructure networks so that conflicts can be resolved before construction starts.

Eleven infrastructure categories. One coordinated approach.

Illustrative schematic — not to scale and not construction guidance.

All eleven categories

Select a category to highlight it in the site schematic. Each project defines which categories, roles and deliverables are in scope.

The eleven categories

Each project defines which categories are in scope and whether our role is modelling, coordination or drawing production.

  1. Water

Potable water distribution: mains, valves, chambers and service connections, modelled and coordinated with the other networks.

  2. Sewerage

Gravity sewers, force mains and manholes, with invert levels coordinated against crossings and road levels.

  3. Irrigation

Irrigation mains and laterals serving landscape areas, coordinated with planting and hardscape.

  4. Stormwater

Stormwater pipes, inlets and manholes, coordinated with road profiles and grading.

  5. Firefighting

Firefighting mains and hydrants, coordinated within shared utility corridors.

  6. LV / MV Power

Low- and medium-voltage cable routes, ducts and substations, coordinated with other services and their clearances.

  7. Street Lighting

Lighting poles, cable routes and feeder pillars along roads and landscaped areas.

  8. CCTV and Telecom

Ducts, chambers and camera positions for CCTV and telecommunication networks.

  9. Roads

Road corridors, kerbs and pavements that set the reference levels for the networks below.

  10. Landscape and Grading

Hardscape, softscape and finished levels, with grading that drives surface drainage.

  11. Canals

Canal alignments and sections, modelled with their crossings and interfaces.

Where networks meet

Coordination interfaces we track

  1. Crossings and clearances between wet and dry utilities
  2. Manholes, chambers and inlets set to road and landscape levels
  3. Shared corridors for power, lighting and telecom routes
  4. Finished levels and grading that drive gravity networks and surface drainage

Typical deliverables

  • Federated network models
  • Clash reports
  • Combined services drawings
  • RFI register

These categories describe the modelling and coordination support we provide. Design responsibility is defined separately for each project.
